The wolf is a highly sociable animal that howls to communicate with its pack, to ward off others and to find pack members when they are apart. Howling also conveys affection and strong bonds between individuals in the pack. The wolf growls to say ‘back off’ or ‘keep in line.’

Marko Wolf is unashamedly sociable and partisan and can be found howling and growling in Japan where he has lived and worked since 1999. If you find what he has to say to be interesting, howl back!

‘the partisan with a typewriter on his back was a typical sight.’
